Just a thing that rings in my head. When you write "my current husband", I'm confused. I am divorced and remarried, but I never refer to my current wife as my "current" wife, she is my wife- I only have one...just curious?
Oh I am so glad that you noted it as I thought it was odd, a husband or wife is a spouse no matter the lineage, 1st, ex, last, current. But we quibble, I am really looking forward to this too.

Current and first - she married for the first time at 65. I enjoy “current” husband and also when she would call him her “own personal husband.”
My one and only husband has been known to refer to me as his first wife.
My dad used to do that with my mom. He thought it was much funnier than she did.
We’ve been married 36 years so I really don’t mind. 😉
