Maybe just “my husband,” rather than “my current husband.” That sounds like you have a plan to get rid of him.

She's being funny!

I thought the same thing. Either cheeky or foreboding. Its wild how one word can covey so much meaning or actually,😉, distraction.

She’s playing off the TikTok trend where women record themselves referring to their S.O. As their “current” (insert boyfriend or husband here)

He could also be her future ex-husband. What I’ve most learned from her is that life is very zig zaggy. I feel weird calling her “her”…but Ms LaMott sounds like my middle school teacher.

I think I preordered already - but I didn’t receive any confirmation on that?

Regarding the use of "actually,' I can't resist sharing this story. Our 3 1/2-year-old grandson has recently begun frequently inserting 'actually' into his conversations (okay. In almost every sentence). I mentioned it to my adult daughter, his aunt, who replied, "Yeah, the mansplaining can stop anytime!"

I first heard this term from Garth Brooks. He said Trish Yearwood refers to him as her "Current Husband", which to him meant "You screw up Buddy, and you're OUTTA here!"

Dear Anne and Neal - separate to your exciting news, just wanted to thank you for the advice that, "everything that is true and beautiful can be seen or experienced on a 10-minute walk if you're paying attention.” It’s changed everything in my own li’l world. No truer advice ever given. 💯❤️

Hey there -- not sure who reads this but I pre-ordered the book awhile back (in the fall) and now, for the life of me, I can't remember if I used my new address or my old address (we moved around Thanksgiving). Who can I contact to check on this?? Thanks!

Actually, I think she has a point ( not that I'm against serial monogamy!!!!) Happy for you both.
